I’d been on to their page and had a look to see if they still did transport to the start, ff, before I posted but must have skimmed over it so didn’t add to my post above - I was wondering 🤪 it’s no mean feat getting the runners to the start. That’s why the LL 100 / 50 are reasonably close together price wise too - it’s the huge number of coaches needed to transport the 50 runners up to Dalemain. Coach hire is really high at the minute. lol at fish and chips 🤣🤣 |

(To be fair, I hate coaches - think it’s PTSD from years of being on them with kids 🤣 and I can still remember the feeling of being on the Fellsman coach to the start…… I had some god company though 😀)

My performance that year certainly wasn't godly. More godawful. Apart from with the hot chocolate. |

The CP still had the smell of F&C when I got there, which was probably quite a while later than ff.

As some of you will know I've recently moved house up into the Yorkshire Dales and last night did my first doorstep to Ingleborough run. 3.2 miles to the summit and I could probably trim some off that by not visiting Little Ingleborough. I can't quite believe I've got all this outside the front door, I guess it's something that those of you who live with the fells on your doorstep know all too well. I shall keep pinching myself.

Wow nice location NE 😍 We walked up Pen Y Ghent from Plovers hill when in Settle recently. I would like to try running it one day. Loving the local hills at the moment. Ran through Youlgreave on Thurs as part of a club run. We're currently only signed up for the village race this year as the hills are still a bit scary, but plan on some proper fell races next year. |

Jealous. Darlington ain't exactly the best place for fell running, especially when your car gives up the ghost. A bit like lockdown, I can see the hills just not so easy to get to them! |
