8pm? That's different. I know there are several going off at midnight as well. Good luck to 'em all. Weather's not sounding great again. Surely can't be worse than last week can it? :-/
Just seen a wee video that the guys on Broad Stand with the ropes took last week. Conditions were really awful. Fair play to Rob for getting up there, it's no wonder everyone else was using Foxes Tarn or Lords Rake.

8pm, I know, not sure of the thinking behind it, other than that so confident is he that there is a table booked at a restaurant somewhere for 9pm on Sat.... not sure whether to be dead impressed or skeptical! I'm 'just' a trail/hash runner training for my 2nd marathon so am completely in awe of all you fell runners and as for the BGR - well just contemplating it makes my head spin! Weather FILTHY here in not-at-all-sunny Devon...

I'll keep my eyes peeled for any BGR's whilst I'm up there.

Anybody tried Oralmat(tm) before and can report any success with it. I have read quite a bit on the treatment of asthma and other breathing problems and so have decided to give it a try. Delivered yesterday and started taking it so will report how things go over the next few weeks.
