Due to the limited time I have at the minute to get out on my bike due to family commitments (they always come first) I have just purchased a turbo trainer that should allow me to keep/develop some level of fitness so watch this space!! ![]() |

Marathon Maiden - Didn't see any BGr-ers whilst I was out and about this weekend, but then again I could only just make out the end of my nose. Very misty and very windy up there, I did think of them out in that.

I was blown about on my short race this afternoon... lousy course, won't be doing that again... too much like a x-coutry and too much tarmac (at least 2 kms of it...) also, advertsied as 5 miles and it was 6.7... not that that matters mind, but the weather was foul!

I'm off to the Peak District Friday week and after thinking about doing two or three back to back races I think I'll do longer runs at a more sedate pace. With that in mind any recommendations for routes, I'll be camping just outside Sheffield off of A57.
