Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Evening Will. Nice to see you back. Unfortunately the ankle is not really improving. :( and to top it all I've just been out playing with my MTB and the bliddy seatpost has stuck in the frame so now I'm really pee'd off!! ;)

Due to the limited time I have at the minute to get out on my bike due to family commitments (they always come first) I have just purchased a turbo trainer that should allow me to keep/develop some level of fitness so watch this space!! :)

Marathon Maiden - Didn't see any BGr-ers whilst I was out and about this weekend, but then again I could only just make out the end of my nose. Very misty and very windy up there, I did think of them out in that.

I was blown about on my short race this afternoon... lousy course, won't be doing that again... too much like a x-coutry and too much tarmac (at least 2 kms of it...) also, advertsied as 5 miles and it was 6.7... not that that matters mind, but the weather was foul!

I'm off to the Peak District Friday week and after thinking about doing two or three back to back races I think I'll do longer runs at a more sedate pace. With that in mind any recommendations for routes, I'll be camping just outside Sheffield off of A57.
