Probably a bit less than 5'11" these days - the stoop is getting more pronounced.

And I bet he'd still leave me miles behind on any hill :-)

After a bit of advice. Would I need to carry kit for Cyclists v Harriers on Saturday? I'm fancying having a go at running it but have lent my kit to some one who doing TofP.

I think it's normal FRA kit reqs for Harriers v Cyclists Julie, I've done it for the past couple of years and am nearly sure we were required to carry it.

p.s. top tip - don't hang around too long at the finish. You go through some very muddy fields at this race and it's not all mud if you know what I mean - the result is a mixture splattered on your legs that last year was very attractive to some horrible little flies that bit the hell out of me, huge raised lumps on my legs for a couple of weeks. Saying that, it did appear to be just the blokes they went for .... strange but true

Coincidentally I was considering C v H and was wondering situation re kit. I barely ever race now so what's needed for an event like that please NE?

Rules is rules so I'd take whatever the requirement is but was going to say Pete Jebb had sensible rule for the Great Whernside: cag and whistle nerd
