How much of the ten minutes did you spend on your first move?

Nope, my clock ran down and the game automatically ended with them winning - they still had over 6 mins on their clock.

Lol Simbil, brilliant. The daily games are the only ones with time per move.
In my match games, I've made my 7th move as black and 8th move a white #SnailPace

With my opponent, he might actually technically be playing fast given he's been playing 500+ games!

How are starting ratings determined? Some people seem to start at 1200 others at 800.

If you go into custom game, you'll see the default is ± 200 on your current rating but can be changed.

I’ve been seeing a few anomalies with our club ratings on the Player leaderboard - Brian doesn’t appear at all even though he’s highest ranked, but he’s only played 6 daily games so maybe the 10 games is relevant. I’ve also noticed the start point is different - maybe based on games played ever on the site?
Best way to get higher rated is to play randoms as I don’t think a lot of Fetchie rankings reflect the real chess world yet (hello Bish 1137)
