Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Yeah to those MissC. I'm too scared to go to the doctor because they will force diet me and I'm not really in the mindset for being nagged... I'm aiming to do things my way for a while longer

5.25 tick!

Also we are walking up to town soon, fresh air! Tick!

I've set up 100 challenge on just giving too... now that should motivate me!

How are we all doing Canners? I did a lovely unGarmined walk through woods on Saturday and a bike ride on Sunday. That was hard going into the wind and uphill at first, then I was struggling a bit at the end, but the middle was lovely.
Monday was one of those days when I talked myself out of it. Had my kit ready to go to the gym first thing, but slept in and hadn't prepped lunch. I did put my kit in the car thinking I'd go after work, but that's not my habit, so I came home and vegged out.
Today started positively, waking before my early alarm meant I had enough time for a long run before work. Easy pace, no pressure and a surprisingly mild morning to put an hour through my legs and plenty of space in my head.
Plan this week is:
Tues: run
Weds: Gym (own session or class)
Thurs: PT

Fri: short run if poss
I'm flying out to Dublin on Friday so essentially giving myself the weekend off. I will be dancing my socks off on Sat night.

Hey scribbler

Doing ok here if a little hectic!!! We have a VIP visit in the office today so my weeks been like upstairs downstairs whilst I run about getting things all ready for the day.. I swear I was a housemaid in a former life!

I've been able to take a step back and starting to think I need to be concentrating on just today to stop the madness of my own mind and gain some normality with food

I'm focusing on run then swim and am 15miles into the 100 mile challenge I set myself.. slowly slowly nothing flash just plod on :-)

How's the rest of you?

Hi Scribbler and Fru (and everyone else)

Life seems to be so hectic at the moment, too much happening at work and at home and feet not touching ground.

Have rejoined WLR which is where I lost my weight last time and am on track and quite focused.

Was supposed to be going for a bike ride tonight but suddenly the wind increased to 30 mph with gusts of 40 mph and being on the coast, it was decided it wasn't safe. I am now catching up on jobs around the house

Hello, going well Scribbler and good focus MM and FRU

*crawls back in*

So, pride before a fall and all that, after a rather impressive 5 weeks the last two have not been as focussed

Slight excuse of going all posh to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary but that should only have accounted for two days not nearly two weeks!!

Thinking of Can

I haven’t run in 2 weeks but Saturday morning is the local race (start and finish in my front garden) 7 miles up on the moor. So what if I finish last, doesn’t matter and might help me find my mojo :)

Omg northern you so have to be our mascot in that race. You totally deserved to celebrate I’m so chuffed for you both 25 years is something amazing

My vote is you do a mile each for one of us.. we don’t care if you walk it or run it just be out there and proud

I’m aiming for 6 miles this weekend, if you pledge to do that race I’ll match you!

Walking allowed!

Ace!!

Congrats on wedding anniversary

Another little run last night. Weight still going in right direction but slowed down but that's my fault as not been as strict

I'll have the 5th one please, NSC :) Hope you enjoy it x

I've lost another 2 lbs but done very little exercise this week so need to do something about that over the weekend. Aim to run this afternoon and on Sunday, horse-riding on Saturday and of course, plenty of dog-walking.
