Phal and Perfect...my garden sounds similar too; still have four species of tits daily but a big loss over the last twelve months has been Collared Dove....

Fragile Do Not Bend
Oh yes, I'm looking forward to seeing what else arrives as the weather improves. It's a bit strange not having all the sparrows and starlings I was used to in my old (suburban) garden. |

walking to get the paper heard a song that i wasn't familiar with. The bird looked like a small finch, but at the top of the tree against a grey sky no colour could be seen. My suspicion was a cock linnet, so i dillied and dallied, dallied and i dillied. On return i looked up the linnet songs and i'm 99% certain that it was indeed a linnet. bird-songs.com is a useful source for songs if you need one. |
