I like your birds!
Nearest I've been to oystercatchers was hearing them on Brue/Parrett estuary in Somerset, wonderful sound, didn't have time to go over to Steart. Next time.

Curlew calling this morning around first light plus four seen in the next valley along with two oystercatcher and the rare sight of a dozen or so cormorant flying together. Maybe they'd roosted nearby?

2 owl day today... SE this morning, a brief glimpse from the car, and a barn this afternoon / early evening, a good view, also from the car.

And 2 Oystercatchers sitting on the Rheged sign; I think they nest on the grass roof!

I came across a small flock of starlings having a mass bathing/puddling splash session despite the perishing wind. Very endearing, so sociable
