J2R Sep 2021 9:51pm, 2 Sep 2021 3,790 posts	0 J2R 154 Rob, envious of your sightings! I'm in north west Scotland myself and not seeing as much as I had hoped, although enjoying glorious weather. I did, however, get the best sighting I've ever had of a hen harrier today, quartering a bit of moorland in south Skye. I have never seen the white rump so clearly before - it was really striking.

And I think this year will be my first in sixty years of not seeing a Swift at all. Chiffchaff singing, Robin and Great Tit too this morning.

Gannets diving now a common sight! Thing is, we're all here for basking sharks.....none of them yet but the other species have been great ✔

And lots of different song birds from my normal fare. I need to get used to them ☺️I am on the North Cornish coast for the weekend!
