Two lapwings flew by overhead on my run, lots of calling and peeeeeeeeeewiting. Don't see them around Dale Abbey usually, no doubt off on their hols somewhere. Also two separate occasions of a buzzard soaring and mewing, beautiful to see on a lovely day. |

Excellent DT. Those boys I spoke to yesterday morning said they'd get it sorted and my directions must have been spot on. I told them to look out for Tuss and something bright and shiny (I was hoping it was warm enough for you to have your hat off!) 😀

A birder I know who watches one of the local reservoirs said he had 100+ swift yesterday, mostly heading this way. And yes I was hat free |
