And the ones by the waters edge do look like Dunlin. At that resolution it's difficult to be 100% but location, relative size etc. would make that the most likely answer and would certainly be my starting point.

I think Dunlin too, but maybe something else as well? And one that looks a bit bigger.

I wondered if there were Ringed Plover in there too but I couldn't decide if it was just my eyes playing tricks. There were two that I thought bigger, one quite a way out on the right and one in the middle at the back? There also looks like a duck in the middle that I can't identify?

The "duck" is actually more left. Just to the left of the gull stood behind the main group of dunlin. One of the bigger ones is in direct line to the Oyc.

Thanks for your help everyone. I must admit, I'm pretty useless at identifying our feathered friends. Next time we go for a stroll down there, I'll take the the big zoom lens with me. That way, hopefully, we should get a clearer picture of the birds. It didn't help today that there was a strong wind blowing from the West. It was hard to keep the camera steady.

@David, I'm pretty useless as well, but always find the experts on here really helpful and I've learnt loads on here.
