Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I have to say that Herring Gulls are a 1 for me. I think they look a bit evil...

I love watching pheasants wandering around the garden, a highlight was the year we had 2 males who kept having fights in sight of the kitchen window.

Wriggling Snake
I like how Sparrows happily congregate around feeders and get along fine compared to all the nasty Tits scrapping with each other.

I would add kittiwake to the list of 10/10 gulls. They have such pretty faces :-)

Dunnock - written off as a boring lbj, but with their beautiful slately blue heads, tiger striped back and orange legs, plus a nice singing voice, I think they are rather handsome. And as for their private lives... :-o

Saw a male and female goosander fly past the bedroom window this morning :-)
