If I went through the books I’d have a pretty good idea how many Wainwright’s I’ve done. My guess is about a hundred plus or minus a few

You should use HillBagging to record them DT, just as the good Mr Synge recommends. I like Harold Street myself, not as "tidy" as Hill Bagging but I like the way you record the data. Top hill bagger Ronnie Bowron puts all his stuff in there.

I had a wall-chart given away with Trail magazine that recorded what I’d done but it was years ago (late 90’s maybe)

I’ve never recorded what wainwrights I’ve bagged, but must have done more than half of the 214. Then at Xmas my son bought me one of those scratch off posters to record your progress... so started from zero in 2019. 4 done 210 to go 😄

Ah! That has reminded me that I was given one of those posters too and I haven't even unrolled it. That's not a bad idea to use it just to record post-gift ascents! And very timely too - we're heading north on Saturday!

Walking boots, an undertaking to Dr S not to pack any running gear and we'll try and spend as much time on the tops as possible. Grasmoor pencilled in for Sunday, but that's about as far as the planning has got so far.

Sounds good to me! I will be in Borrowdale tomorrow, Wasdale etc on Saturday and I'm considering options for Sunday. A Martindale circuit could be on the cards. Have a good time 😊
