We record the Wainwrights that we've done together, but only started recording when someone gave us one of the maps. We have done more than our recorded total (80-ish) and will go back to revisit some favourites. Don't intend to aim to do them all, but if there's a toss-up between routes, we'll look to bag one or two
I once did 24 over 2400' in 24 hours but that was over 20 years ago - before I'd even met Mrs R4R
Did Troutbeck Tongue last Friday and were heading for Wansfell but the wind came up as the mist and rain came down, so we'll do it another day - it'll still be there ;-)

Wansfell was my last Wainwright. I would highly recommend trying to do them all, many of the small outliers that i ignored as a young man have turned out to be great walks.

Some of my favourite Wainwright’s are well off the beaten track: Slight side, Harter fell and Grey Friar spring to mind

I've got in mind Binsey in April, Grike in August and Grey Crag (Longsleddale) at some point - the Northmost, Westmost and Eastmost Wainwrights.
I've already done Dow Crag, the Southmost

Binsey is a bit underwhelming. Best tackled from Bassenthwaite to make it a bit more interesting.

Our Borrowdale circuit today was good, parked in Stonethwaite and did Eagles Crag, Sergeants Crag, round the head of the valley and up to Ullscarf, then dropped down to GreenComb and on to Great Crag. Lovely day.

On the 23rd August 2007 my son and I plus a couple of other Wainwrighters walked Eagle and Sergeant's Crag in the evening from Stonethwaite, a beautiful walk.
