There's a fair bit filmed in and around Broughton in Furness and Duddon Valley too - the music teacher's house is in Broughton Square - the bus shelter was especially built and is still in the Square now. Definitely some artistic licence to be able to walk from Thirlmere to Keswick to Broughton!

Blagged a free copy of GoOutdoors magazine by installing "pocketmags" app. Their take on the Wainright biography is a nice account of his last trip up Haystacks. Also in December's issue are two "day-long" walks around back o' Skiddaw - which I've noted as looking about do-able for this flatlander
