Cockermouth MRT out doing their bit yesterday: facebook.com The road they're stood on is on one of my regular routes after coming along the river which should just be by the distant trees in pics 2 & 3 before flowing under the road bridge in 3!! The property behind them with the bricked up window is in the process of being renovated, sadly it'll need a bit more work now! |

Ullswater Way tomorrow is cancelled. Weather is looking up but it's still very wet everywhere. Snoot - I see one of those Southwaite houses went on the market last week. May be more difficult to shift now :(. |

This was the 'riverside' path from our house towards Southwaite yesterday lunch time. The path usually follows the fence by the line of trees.

Rosehip - that's the one. I think you'll find it's a swimming pool in the basement, not a gym ;).

That’s what I thought - wonder if they’d knock a zero off the price for a quick sale

It is a bit if a nightmare Humidity in my house is up again, so the ground water level is above my earth floor and the cavity of 50 cms between it and the wooden floor is rising again. I have the dehumidifier on 24/7 now, to deal with rising damp... This is an issue that has only arisen in the last 3/4 years... |

I know the Lakes have always been wet, but this flooding is relatively recent, right?
