It was blowing a hoolie when i went to work and i'm 5 miles or so west of Ennerdale on the edge so god knows what the middle is like. Is mostly dry though.

The date stamps on the tracker suggest she got down off the fell about 5am and stayed at the parking point for around 2 hours before heading off. So it suggests they tried to recover to go again but it wasn't happening. Not sure whether that is it or she has gone elsewhere to recover and plans to come back and continue? As long as she returned to the same point the attempt would still be valid. On his record attempt Joss went elsewhere to sleep on several occasions before continuing where he'd left off.

Spotted on another forum, don't have a link to original ( there's lots of SB's on facebook ! ) From Steve Birkinshaw on FB: "Sabrina dropped off the fells at Armboth down to Thirlmere. The weather has been horrible and she was struggling breathing. Safety is the key thing and so in the end it was an easy decision for us to make. She might start again from Thirlmere if she can sort out her breathing." |

Looks like she has gone home, so it's going to be a lengthy delay and probably means the overall record will be out of reach now. Plenty of time for the female record and a completion if that is sufficient motivation for her?
