Do they do Smidge in England, badger? I got away with just a single bite after dealing with clouds and midges in Arrochar last weekend. Pretty good stuff.

Am actually in the Lakes myself next weekend. Getting excited :)

Yes, Chris Draper from CFR. I was able to cheer him in at the Moot Hall, first time I've been able to do that. Total coincidence, I didn't know he was doing it. I think I might have to change the FGR guidelines so that contenders have to register a la BGR.

Yes, I saw that too Ros. Looks interesting, might have to give it a stab :-) Am going to have a go at the "Great Gifts 14" first, that barefoot numpty has been pushing it but the truth is that it's not really a new thing - the FRCC have had it as a challenge for a while.
