I haven't explored the wider lakes as much but we have a scout site in Chapel Stile where we go all the time so I've ended up all over the valley. Between this and following Duke of Edinburgh teams, I get about the area. I do need to branch out to the other bits

Somewhat restricted by husband insisting that he will walk with me - I had a lovely route work out for most of my not-yet-done peaks to be ticked off in a day - now I'll have to split it into at least 2, probably 3! Does anyone else not suffer from non-outdorsy spouses?
