Just test runned the route for Sat, 54m elevation but nothing steep up/down so quads should survive. Will possibly alternate clockwise/anti-clockwise and will do as one activity, pausing after each lap.
Looks great Funky, I might try and vary my loop (easier as only doing 2 miles) between an off road loop , road loop and possibly treadmill loop. I have also considered doing the while thing on the treadmill - especially as my new one arrives tomorrow and can watch Netflix on it 😂😂
I've got a day lap (1 lap of Woodley parkrun, roughly) and a night lap with more street lights. And a bonus lap for boredom relief. Planning a 10am start and midday finish the following day. Never done anything like this before and expecting the hours of darkness to challenge me.
I really had no idea how long my body would be happy with me continuing but guessed it would be no more than about 8 laps max (doing 1 mile laps).
But now I have the added complication of agreeing to help mum to decorate a 50th birthday cake for my sister and she wants to do that on Saturday. I'll push her as late as I can in the day but that might be the cause for my stopping.
I think fitz we can start anytime upto and including midday on saturday ..... I'd hoped to start around 9am but now will need to be most likely 10 or perhaps even 11am.
I thought it'd be good to have a thread for discussing F'Laps 2024 (Date 6th July 2024). Follow this thread if interested.
