Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

My father used to say "One man's romance is another man's sordid affair".

There is a chip shop opening just down the road in "takeaway parade", so I have, within 40 yards, Indian, newsagent, chinese, pizza, kebab, chinese too, proper chippie. I think this is exciting and I think they are all far enough away not to effect my house price and I can go and walk there.

However I would say it explains the health of the country in general, that that sort of concentration of takeaways can exists in a place like cirencester at all, this is quite apart from all the other throughout the town.

Won't it be exciting to know that a saveloy will be only a short walk away. :-)

I am excited because I am really REALLY bloody happy. It has taken me years to shake some things off to get to this place. Plus it is Friday eve and wine and chocolate are only 24 hours away (weekend rule).

You know Wriggling Snake it is similar here. I see kids these days and they are huge compared to when I was younger. Not just weight but height too. Sad that the UK diet potentially for some is so shocking. I was explaining to my daughter the reason African countries produce such brilliant runners is because from being knee high to a grasshopper they have to run to get places such as school. There is no other option and it is not always a recreation like in the UK. So, another reason to be excited- my daughter is going to run to and from school to improve her running :)
