When eating a jam filled donut, it's best to eat it from the side where the jam was injected and that way the jam doesn't squirt out into your lap. I figured this out just before eating the donut, which is why I posted here and not on the Minor Disasters thread. |

The problem with your method, GH, is that if the doughnut has a miserly portion of jam, as some do, then you consume it all in the first couple of bites. My method (ignoring the possibility of eating it whole) is to work my way in from the bottom and the sides while keeping the injection point uppermost and keeping an eye out for any ooze.
