I loved this event. Anyone want to be part of a mixed team next year? A happy team where we run through the night but no one does more than they want to?

I’d like to run 6 laps and don’t mind running at night but don’t want to do double laps. I’d be aiming about 55 min for a 5 mile loop
MrS would like to do 3 laps and doesn’t mind running at night (but shouldn’t do much more as he has a target marathon week after). He is nearer 40 min loop.
mrS and I can’t both be out at the same time as we’d have c9 with us. I’ll set up a team if anyone wants to be part of it!

I know Linds is working this weekend :-( but anyone else fancy it?

oh just stumbled across this thread... I am planning on doing Endure 24 Leeds with some pals from running club next year.

Any tips greatly received - the first - how do I get over my hatred of laps? ;)

If you are in a team can more than one of you be on the course at the same time? I would like to aim for between 35-50

The other thing I struggle with BIG time is eating when I run, no wonder that I hit a sticky wicket when I have done both marathons..... I am aiming for Dark Skies Kielder (again) in March so really need to work on this and I'm thinking of getting used to munching something from 10k upwards just to get used to eating on the run.

Hi Geordie girl

the route was pretty enough at reading it didn’t feel like laps especially as there was a gap between them and it changed from day to night to day - I think you can only have one team mate on course at a time but if you have mates in different teams you can run with them!

I like gu gels but like anything you have to train your body to take them. Rice pudding appears popular with the proper endurers. Dark skies sounds lovely :-)

And you don't have to eat on the run.

We might be at Leeds this year....
