I'm expecting it catches up with her eventually TBH. How much by is the question. If she can run sub 66 for the second half that would be amazing!

I expect on the shoes front we are looking at Nike - Dev 16E which is a development version of the Alphafly 3 elite (although it's possible they are in the standard AF3). The previous development version was Nike - Dev 15. Development shoes can't be used in the Olympics or World Champs.

15:32 from 25km to 30km for Chepngetich, slower (slowest in first half was 15:19) but still strong. Keeping that pace would give 02:09:43.

Kebede ran 16:39 for the same section. Would still be 02:14:24 if she kept that pace but can't see her keeping the pace.

15:43 from 30km to 35km, 02:10:08 if that pace is maintained. Trend is slowing but not an explosion at this point.

Sub 2:10 will be close. 02:10:04 it she maintains the pace she hit 40km (15:39 5km to that point) at but she looks to have picked up, there's an incline to come though.
