First week has been mainly basketball for me with a bit of tennis and a little swimming. I'm going straight to Discovery+ rather than BBC as well. In the past I'd probably initially see what was showing on BBC channels before switching to dedicated feeds for specific things (eg weightlifting). With the proper coverage on Discovery+ now I'm more likely to stick to one dedicated feed (currently watching athletics on delay) but maybe I should get a schedule to plan viewing. Discovery+ does do some gold medal alerts which I haven't used so far but that could prompt some switching in the future.

Thank you both. Thought it was another hour.

I've only seen bits of the games so far, but the BBC coverage from my point of view has been absolutely appalling. Rant over. Will watch now!

It's a fair point. They keep switching sports between the Olympics channel and the Extra channel, so to follow, say, the swimming you keep having to swap through the evening. A bit annoying. Hopefully we'll get more consistency with the athletics
