The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free.
But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient.
Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead.
Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?
🤣🤣 Which M6 services? Northbound I always stop at Burton in Kendal - has about 8 chargers. Its very variable - some services only have a couple and you're lucky if they both work
Lol at the charging cable fail! Actually when I've done long drives I've always just used rapids or tethered fast chargers so not an issue. Though to be fair I only have a tethered at home so I could never forget the one which lives in the boot permanently.
I might buy another cable for home cos that was just silliness and caused a right panic! I've got so used to only charging at home.
Glad the fast charger have cables! It's been really good - plug in, just tap contactless and charging starts. Gridserve top marks! I bought a large Costa and only just finished it in time it took to charge - 14% to 84% so far. G
There are a lot of variables and a lot of rubbish spouted about the comparative lifetime CO2 production of EVs vs ICEs. Variables in the production process, the source of the electricity used to power EVs and the longevity of EVs.
