Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Eddington number - do you know yours?

I could not understand what the E number meant but have got hold of it now. I miss the training log geek gene. There’s a blog in it for me now though ;-)

16 for me which is higher than I expected. “Only” need another 3x17 and 2x18 to move up a couple.

I buck the trend a bit by managing 27 for running. And only need a couple of 29 mile days to move up a couple of places. When's the next version of the Castle Challenge? 😉

My Paul Eddington number (times you laughed at the Good Life x times you laughed at Yes, Minister x times you laughed at Yes, Prime Minister) will be less than 27.

24 running and 27 cycling. Cycling cannot be right as I can only recall one cycle of that distance.

Actually I ran two marathons before logging on fetch and so I am 25 and one marathon shy of 26.

Cycling I have just recalled I did Edinburgh to Glasgow twice which is c50 miles but only one logged here. I guess I must have done some longer prep cycles but can only think of two and not the 27.

I'm sure I never ran more than 26.2 pre Fetch, so that number is a lifetime one. Probably did over 60 x 100k rides but not a lot more than that.

I didn’t log my cycle on here either but found I blogged it and reported one 40 mile training ride.
