Ah, I get it now. My E=13 because I have run 13 miles on 13 occasions

Not really sure how interesting or useful this is, but glad to have worked it out?

Yes, and I thought the largest number related to the number of days, not the number of miles, i.e. the modal value.

The Paul Eddington number is where E equals the number of repeats of the Good Life you've seen and at least the same number of repeats of Yes Minister.
