Sixers should go minimum 6-2 on that schedule, could go 8-0 but they are unpredictable based on what's happened so far. They also have a championship standard home record (29-2) but a lottery standard away record (10-24), so wonder what, if any, effect that has at a neutral venue.

I’ll look at the schedule tomorrow. Exciting times, even in a sterile and Knicksless environment.

From the BBC: "NFL commissioner Roger Goodell says he would "encourage" a team to sign former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick." I wonder how he'd cope having been out the game for as long as he has? |

This article is good on Kaepernick. theringer.com Despite the time out the league, I think he definitely worth having as a backup somewhere. Whether he wants that at this point, who knows. I'd guess he'd want to be able to get back to being a starter eventually. Cam Newton isn't signed yet. He must be better than a few starters out there. |

Agree with PoD. See also last Wednesday’s ATN. I’m *amazed* nobody has signed Newton. Given my huge soft spot for the Bolts the idea of him sitting at home when they’re starting Tyrod Taylor makes me weep. As a wise man (Sessler, probably) once said, there is no question in football to which the best available answer is ‘Tyrod Taylor’. |

Kaepernick would only really work with an offence built round a mobile QB, like the Ravens

There's not many QBs that can run like Lamar Jackson. That's way past being mobile. There's a few mobile QBs in the NFL. Wentz is mobile, Wilson is moblie, Mahomes is mobile. Kaepernick isn't as good as them but his mobility is an additional skill that can be utililised in a standard offense. Agree Grep. Maybe it's due to the COVID-19 situation but there's so much potential upside to Newton. |

Agree spr, but Kaepernick would be a perfect backup for all 4

In fairness, that lanky bloke that the Bolts drafted from The Ducks (I’ll look his name up in a minute but you know the guy) has good mobility. And so does (don’t laugh) Fitzmagic.
