Surely the best answer to the question: 'Who do you want at QB to maximize your draft position next year?' might be Tyrod Taylor?

I think he might be less of a liability than Drew Brees though. When people were talking about TB12 looking past it last season I can only assume they hadn’t seen Brees recently.

Granted I didn't pay much attention to Drew Brees last year but how do you explain this Grep? Night and day between Brady and Brees currently based on that.

Thanks SPR. I’ll have fun looking into that at work tomorrow.

Last time I saw Brees I was reminded of Serena alas - someone who h TIL recently was brilliant, but has just lost it and there’s not going to be a way back.

Just checking in to see if Grep has realised he got Brady and Brees mixed up? ;-)

Re Serena, the Australian open was concerning but before that she was getting to Grand slam finals but the pressure was meaning she played below her normal standard while her opponents played like they had nothing to lose.

Wimbledon final last year was just ugly.

Anyway, both the ESPN fantasy pundits have TB12 above Brees. The majority agree with you, but it's not an overwhelming majority.

And for the record, I'd rather have Brees than Tyrod Taylor. It's going to be a tough year for the Bolts, especially if Herbert turns out to be as flaky as his critics suggest.

Not saying Brady won't bounce back this year. Gronk and the rest of his cast surely makes him 'better' even if he was the same as last year.

That doesn't change what happened last year though.

Given the choice of Brady, Brees or pretty much anyone I'd go for pretty much anyone. Even Daniel Jones, who is actually a cyborg.

Brady was signed before it was known that Newton was going to be cut right? Newton surely has more upside potential.

Brady will be fine I guess but more a game manager type now surely.
