Oh goodness today's newt... dunno.. need to think Although I have been turned down by a pub we asked if we could host a run from for the first time ever. And we are practically regulars there. Still - it's their loss, there are other pubs who will welcome being our race HQ.

Yesterday's newt wasn't exactly newt. I've done it before but not for ages I complimented a stranger on the train on her adorable daughter and her great parenting. She was really engaged with her child not wrapped up in her phone and they were having real fun It was lovely to see so I told her

I've been doing duolingo on an iPhone and it is doing weirdly different predictions. I have to talk about ducks eating bread and drinking water a lot. But when I type du the phone keeps wanting to write dude. The dude is drinking the water. Way to go dude. The dude abides.

Bint I love that newt (the one about the mum, although I am pleased you got a massage).
I met lots of lovely new people at the training I was delivering. Also tried a new flavour of soup: Red pepper and sweet potato. It was delicious. I totally forgot the other day I have booked a massage with a new person who lives very locally.

My newt yesterday was to run to the left of The Oval, which is an enclosed garden that adjoins New Walk (a promenade that anyone who has run Leicester Marathon will fondly remember, as it provides an uphill last mile). I must have gone to the right of this oval thousands of times but never the left.
Today's was different breakfast, a chickpea crepe with roasted veg, to use up stuff from the cupboards.
