I love my ugly mismatched cutlery but it came from my grandparents house! I have a ‘special’ knife and fork as opposed to the set of cutlery we have that everyone else uses! 😂 I get really cranky if anyone uses them!

I got some newt 3/4 shorts for biking. I’m trying to decide whether to keep them both.

I also have a beautifully shiny clean car (inside and out) which is almost like newt. I’m hoping that if I try to trade it in they’ll be distracted by the shininess and miss some of the dodgy bits.

Speedy, snap! I got my mum's turqoise italian leather biker jacket she had had for 20 years and worn 3x... I have worn it so much since, it looks worn and my sister, who insisted I'd have it because it is so me, says it has only improved being sun bleached etc

Because of my frozen shoulder I am mousing left-handed today. It doesn't help that my mouse is ergonomically shaped for a right-hander.

[HP, I have an aunt who can't use cutlery that is all of one piece, it gives her the willies, apparently. She has to have cutlery with wooden or bone handles. She even carries her own set with her when eating out.]

Exactly this halfpint but also we did have some that my husband picked out that not only didn’t feel right it was just giant cutlery in my hands and I just hated it. Managed to cull it when we sold our static caravan and I found some nicer cutlery left in there we had forgotten about!

I used to have a special knife for cutting cheese! I have a cheese slice now but this wooden handled knife came from a knife block when I got divorced, I think it’s all I had from the knife block, it survived a few moves and 2 more relationships! 😂

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.
