I am currently contemplating the purchase of a ‘1000 denier rip-stop ballistic nylon 220g turnout rug with detachable neck, memory foam wither relief, full tail flap, shoulder darts, leg arches, elasticated removable leg straps and reflective tape’ and wondering if he also needs ‘ceramic therapyTech (TM)’. THIS is why I’m not on the fancy leggings and shorts thread. I don’t have the time.

I suppose it’s like I used to have a ‘coat’ and now I have a ‘breathable and water resistant soft shell jacket with articulated sleeves for natural movement, zippered pockets, adjustable hood and zips for compatibility with our Gortex waterproof system (supplied separately)’.

The sixth running of Do a New Thing for Spring

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.
