Contro won a prize for 7th male in a fast time and I even sneaked a cup and plaque for 1st HM Forces,despite running crap and I think a 24th place.

I was walking from mile 28 and had a strange spell for the next few tens of minutes. By 29 miles I was struggling to walk and felt like I was about to go unconscious. Ended up with my head between my legs on the verge and got picked up by St John's ambulance. I realised that walking the last three miles might take as much as an hour and I really didn't think I could do it. Even lying on the couch in the van I was on the edge of consciousness. Happy to take the ambulance back from 29, and dnf.
