12BD 4 things you must do (others will add I'm sure), .

- Go see the Leopard Sculpture in Marschial Square.

- Have a pint at the 6degrees north pub at 6 Littlejohn St.

- Wander around the docks (careful who you strike a conversation with)
- Come to Stonehaven and visit Dunnottar Castle (in fact just stay in the town Harbour has great places to eat and drink).

Thanks for the advice JRitchie. I fear at this rate, I’ll be to tired to run on Saturday.
Today, Mrs 12bar & I walked along Union Street to the beach. Then walked up to just past the Aberdeen football stadium along the seafront.
My wife reckoned she saw a couple of seals in the sea, but I’m not so sure.
From there we cut inland & walked up to Seaton Park & walked across the oldest bridge in Great Britain. After that, a brisk walk back into town & fish & chips in Weatherspoons.
I’m going for a gentle run about 7 p.m. Mind you, after spending all day walking around, I should think I’ve clocked up enough exercise for the day.

Either that or dolphins 12barD. Both are regularly seen down the beach.

Funny that, I ran across that bridge this morning. As DQ says it's quite possible that she saw seals.

I forgot to mention the weather. No one on this forum told me I would need factor 50 sun cream. I can’t believe it. By the time we had followed the footpath from Seaton Park alongside the River Don to the Brig o’ Balgownie, we were positively sweating. We had to remove a couple of layers of clothing each it was so hot.

If you'd done it on Tuesday you'd have needed oilskins 12bar. It was 10 degrees in the Bridge of Don't today.
