4 wickets all day...
Hmm, we really have got to work very hard to stop them taking another 12 wickets and it's an easy pitch.

Agreed; joys of Skygo, had cricket on laptop and TdF on t'telly!
Got to keep Australia to a slow rate of scoring, then not throw away our wickets now.
Draw...

A draw would be massive, psychologically, for us. Sadly, way beyond us - all she wrote baby by close tomorrow.

Realistically, they'll easily get 200 by lunch tomorrow and very few teams have ever seen out 5 sessions in the 4th innings. In the unlikely event that we did manage that, an England win is more likely than a draw.

Been done 5 times, apparently, so not unprecedented.
I hope that the England dressing room are thinking positively, rather than being resigned to defeat. I'm not sure that we, as a nation, are very good at confidence.

And there we have a demonstration by Australia of how benign this pitch is...

Think its doable on a tame pitch like this one. Needs someone to set an example and drop anchor a la Tavare/Crashies Granny.
Don't always agree with Boyccs but this is the time to show the full face of the bat and play what has to be played and leave everything else.
