Wriggling Snake
at 9.32 this morning I said
" I see Lyth lashing the ball to boundary, and then getting out, I see balance caught lbw in his crease and bell looking dodge, 30-2, long day today, long day tomorrow.
"
pretty cloase, pretty close.
NOT a draw!
However, I bet on Broad to be our top wicket taker in the first inningss
oh dear
4 down

Time must be up for Bell, hasn't put his hand up in the 1st innings when needed.
3 wickets lost in my 20 minute drive home.

Bell got a good ball again, according to Vaughan. Lyth wafted, Root wafted, can't quite work out what happened to Ballance.

We can't keep relying on Root to pull us out of the shit -sometimes like today it won't happen. This could be a big innings for Cooky though. Bell in last chance saloon, Ballance and Lyth -this series will make or break them.
Good to see Stokes is not going to die wondering

I don't think Ballance has the technique for test cricket. He was stuck in his crease for a full, straight ball. Not good enough. I still think Root is the long term number 3.
