Done with an over to spare. That's epic enough for me!

Didn't see that coming after 5 overs. Good series and a good win. Now lets go for it in the t20!

Yay, good win! well done to Bairstow minor.

Always difficult to judge players; consider Ravi Bopara; a far better cricketer than I ever was, really good county pro, but not quite good enough to be consistently successful at international level. Others (Amla!) really weren't good enough, but improved to be one of the best in the world. I suppose it's all about getting your chance, then working hard enough to get another one if you blow the first one. Anyone remember Andy Lloyd? espncricinfo.com

Really enjoyed the games with NZ but....played in too good a spirit? Almost liked them too much to really enjoy beating them (or despise losing).

Won't be like that with the next lot we're playing. Should be a few rows and an edge, let's hope we can dish it out.....can't wait.....can the free spirit/attacking mindset survive in the Ashes pressure cooker and, just as important, under Cook's leadership.

Bring it on.....

I see Peter Moores got an apology from the BBC about him being misquoted and being stats obsessed. Doesn't matter really, it was obvious he couldn't inspire the England players to perform and as we can see now, helped select the wrong ones as well.

Long live the new high risk, care free era. I'd rather us go down in a blaze of glory than meekly surrender like in the World Cup.
