And in 5 days they can come home and the English press can carry on taking the piss.

An embarassing defeat. That fact that until last summer we haven't been playing 50 overs in the counties is of significance but more importantly our players have been incapable of moving on with the development of the limited overs game. The Aussies have managed it. Moores is obsessed with stats -but I couldn't help noticing as I was watching that Sky TV have a stat for everything too. They could probably tell us that Ian Bell batted better after having sausage and mash for tea. It's all irrelevant, what's gone before. |

Tut tut, MDOTs. What a frightfully poor show! If Mooresmustgo is so obsessed with the stats, how did Morgan0's stats keep him in the side? Time for Roy, Billings, Stokes, Vince maybe even Luke Wright; maybe for Mills, Rankin and Footit; certainly Finn should be allowed to let rip. How much worse could they do? |

I've looked at the stats and can see why we lost.

Nice to see Mohin top the economy rate, makes you wonder why Tredwell didn't get a chance.

I'm currently glad to be Scottish as we have an excuse. Though I guess it's a tad embarrassing to have lost to England...

I will celebrate whichever team wins as an English victory as they will undoubtedly be part of the Commonwealth, which the Queen is the head of. I fully expect the Commonwealth to retain the Cricket World Cup |
