What's the best way, for most of the counties, I suspect, to come out and say "historically the 'lads banter' has probably crossed the racist, and also sexist and homophic lines, for which we are now sorry and we endeavour to educate all concerned and eradicate it going forward" ?
I suspect anything less than is a whitewash? And will trigger something to come out that will embarass them.

Yes true that. A bad thing happened; acting quickly decisively and empathetically minimises damage and hopefully prevents recurrence.
Yorkshire’s behaviour made a bad thing much much worse for the victims, and, had they got away with it would have seen an ‘it’s ok to do that here’ message with regards to casual racism within the organisation.
It could be brutal tomorrow.

I note Rafiq has pretty much said what I said I about Root. Simply didn't register with him, which basically makes it hard to wipe out. If a "good man" (Rafiq's words) isn't hearing stuff and recoiling and seeing it as out of the ordinary it's pretty poor.
