He'd probably play ahead of Collingwood, in fairness. Although I do accept Collingwood got more from his talent.

Collingwood could never have played any of the Stokes innings. The reverse is not true - see Headingley, bat for time then take the game away.

Stokes v Collingwood isn't the question.
Not is stokes v prior.
In that line up, you'd be mad to take stokes as a #8 over the better bowler in Chris woakes.
Wherever the test was being held!
However, I do agree with that line up, stokes would probably play ahead of Collingwood - for the simple reason that it gives you a 5th bowler so the 37 v 40 batting average stay is actually not important.
Prior would bat at 6 though - better average.
As for getting into other test teams - Australia yes because they're actually not a great team. He'd bat 6 or 7 though probably.
India? No. Think he'd struggle - jadeja and Ashwin would likely play ahead of him, so he'd be up against pandya for that spot and he can't get in the test team. He'd play on England and NZ and maybe Australia, but wouldn't play in many sub continent tests.
NZ? Probably. Again batting at 6.
And obviously straight in anyone else's team.

Well, it is the question if you are picking your best team and in the best team that you highlighted, you could have Stokes AND Woakes by removing Collingwood.

No. I asked a direct stokes v woakes question given the line up.
The question was clear.

Fozzy seems to have engineered the entire scenario so we’re forced to pick Woakes over Stokes by making bowling hugely more significant in the selection decision.
In order to prove Stokes is over-rated.
Odd.

I can't decide what win I enjoyed the most. Pakistan or West Ham. I still reckon India will have a good look at themselves and be there at the end of the comp. Pakistan maybe, it'd make a mad final.

West Ham, obviously. Lovely to see the arrogant Indians take a hiding from their fiercest rivals but that’s not beating Spurs……while not even playing that well……and making their record in London Derbies this season P4 W0 D0 L4.

The only result that mattered at the weekend was the long awaited clash at Mansfield...
Mansfield Ladies 10 - 37 Long Eaton Ladies
First ever meeting at senior level, but no Long Eaton girls team has ever beaten Mansfield in 7 seasons of trying. Mini Nico has been on the receiving end for 6 of those seasons. It was sweet to see a team with 8 girls who had come up through the junior sections, put one over them.
Long Eaton Ladies are top of the league

Scotland are getting a bit of a harsh lesson before they even run into the top teams.
