I watched that London hit and giggle
Pedestrian isn't a word I would use for Roy, he was hopelessly out of form. Timed nothing and looked horrible as he tried to hit his way into nick.
Bowling on both sides was garbage

Fair enough, Nich- i was just going off the scorecard. I've still not seen Yorks beat Lancs live yet - I was at OT for the last-ball defeat in 2018 and the 2019 fixture got monsooned off...

PS Agree on not generally giving a toss about 20/20. The cynic in me does wonder if T*e H*****d is an exercise in moving crusty old first-class fans' Overton Windows so we end up going "well the 20/20 is relatively traditional and exacting compared to this!".

I was at that 2018 game, that's when T20 hits the spot, i.e close, usually it is a bit pants, except one thing that I marvel at in all games now, fielding, the fielding is quite incredible.

Well 50 overs ODI seems middle of the road now
Have to feel for the debutant yesterday whose 3rd over went for a nb Beamer 6, 2, nb Beamer 6 - he was then withdrawn by the umpire
