cinch, I know who they are because of that sexist advert where the boy id a fit, thicko and the woman portrayed as smart. That is modern telly all over though isn't it, all men are violent, drunken, philandering psychopaths and women go ahead, career minded and intelligent.
Anyway, NZ for the win.

As in 'Go' a new mo'or?' or as in outboard? I suspect the former.

Cinch are they those adverts with the frightening orange skinned white toothed bloke?
Good old England - still picking a team to play during May on those damp, cold, green toppers under cloud cover. Do not adapt to changing conditions, ever. Brilliant.

Don't think I've seen a tv advert for a couple of years.
Both sides seem to be treating this as a bit of a friendly. England without a large chunk of the first XI, intending to give a few people their first go in test cricket. When was the last time we played without a 'proper' all-rounder? Anderson on 992 wickets and also only one behind Alastair Cook for most England test matches, I think.
NZ using it as a warm up for the World Test Championship Final. They haven't won a series here in over 20 years, and lost 9 of their last 12 tests outside NZ.

I think NZ look more solid, Burns, Sibley, Lawrence, Bracey, Pope all looking to seal their places.
NZ for me.

Wasn't it NZ who beat us when we reached the very 'peak' of our 90s trough, dropped to the bottom of the rankings and the supporters were singing 'we're the worst team in the world' (to the tune 'you got the whole world in your hands') during the presentations.
Great days
