I think test matches always keep the hope (or fear going longer). A team chasing 350 in an ODI that is 150-7 after 40 overs has no chance and each ball makes their chances worse England facing an innings defeat on day 3 improve their minimal chances with every ball faces unless it is a wicket. It creates the false hope which is missing in thumping ODI defeats |
