Swinging like an Essex housewife, cloudy and humid with broad and Anderson having a good first few overs.

Wouldn't be surprised if there are early in roads here.

And thank you to Mrs Smythe of Lower Muggleton for the lovely Victoria sponge.

I made Almond, Marzipan and blueberry tarts on Saturday, just so I could munch them and drink tea whilst the cricket was on, I weigh 2lbs more than normal.

Daughter played for Notts U17s yesterday. Stopped at services on the back for a McD - daughter in Notts shorts and training shirt. Suddenly noticed guys in Warwickshire track suit bottoms and training shirts. Ended up in the queue at McDonalds with 8 members of Warwickshire 2nd XI - including Jonathon Trott - who were returning from a game against Yorkshire.
McDonalds - the food of highly-tuned athletes:)

What an end day to a fascinating test - guaranteed draw until the timely declaration of Cooky. I hope the Cook knockers will shut the f up now. How dare he pick Prior and Root ahead of Buttler and Stokes 0 think we know how that went. How dare he play with the traditions of cricket and field the way he did - almost came off that one - out thought Sanga and made him play a shot he wouldn't normally have gone for. Well done Cooky, let's finish it off at Headingley.

It's not all over, can see Rooty equalling his test best and Prior and Ali knocking off the rest! An amazing victory by 3 wickets - you heard it here first!

Is it just me who resents Swann on TMS just months after he abandoned England mid-tour?

All over by lunchtime. 175 ao.
