yes, that would be nice...I am not so sure he is one to put his hand up and say I have had enough now, mainly because he hasn't...he wants to play...but Woakes is a better bet now...we'll see it is going to get difficult for the selectors from now on.

Broad was left out, it is a nice position to be in knowing you have bowlers to come in, wicket-keeper batsmen and even one or two Batsmen too...

Looking at the rainfall radar, it's a pretty safe bet that there'd have been no play today at Lords or the Oval. Southampton has heavy rain currently. Trent Bridge, Headingley, Chester-le-Street & Edgbaston look OK
