I know there’s been collapses, all outs in a session but the context makes this for me. This is the Ashes. After a poor 1st test we get a solid draw at Lord’s, a toss win and bowling them so we’re back in the series. Suddenly we’re feeling good and it’s all back on. Conditions are better, confidence is high, and Mo Mentum is in our corner. Pre play TMS talk is of a tough day for Australia, and they observe that Australian body language is unusually down (until Roy coughs up his wicket). It’s time, this is the series, time to grab the opportunity. Two hours later it’s all in rubble, Ashes gone. Unbelievable. So any worse sessions?
