You don't leave a fit Anderson out though. Agree if it's risky but I'd drop any bowler apart from Archer for him.

Stokes seems to have a different temperament. He hasn't been swashbuckling recently and seems to thrive on responsibility.

That's the thing, I can't see how you can say he is fit without a decent couple of bowling spells, especially if England win.

TMS said he bowled 9 yesterday. Not sure about today.

The weather is going to cock this up for England.

I just read the report....first 4 or 5 overs well within himself...then increased his pace a little. He told the team how much he wanted to bowl.
In effect a net.
He would need to do a bit more but there aren't any games.
If England win. No.

Nope. The more I'm watching, the more I think something isn't right with Archer.
He's the slowest of the steamers at the moment. Holding wasn't happy on commentary earlier. Surely you should have him bowling flat out, not wasting his overs on doing a job Woakes could do with the new ball. Anyway, that was the gist of his argument and I tend to agree. But now his pace is still down, very strange.

‘The weather is going to cock this up for England.’ Err, no, England are cocking this up nicely themselves

TMS said he'll be playing a four day friendly as well.
Anderson would have been good to have right now.
