We're too fragile, I wouldn't declare. Get after the Aussies after lunch and see what happens when we're all out

So you are all in favour of deliberating going out to hurt the opposition. I see a big difference from the thuggery by Archer compared to the Windies in days gone bye.

Can see no difference at all. It's designed to keep the batsman on the back foot for balls they should be coming forward to

A big difference? Yeah, the Windies were a lot worse, and the rules had to be changed as a result of it.

Where did anyone say they are in favour of hurting someone deliberately?

What have you got against Archer FR? I agree with jda, the West Indies in their hey day were far worse. They bought in an intimidation law in the '80's to stop them bowling nonstop bouncers if I'm not mistaken. Law 42.8 for those who'd like to read up on it.

I loved Uncle Bob's comments last night. People having a go at Archer for not checking on him, Willis reckons he did exactly the right thing, you need to keep your distance as a fast bowler.
FR, can I just ask, do you consider Cummings, the no. 1 bowler in the world to be a bully? Approximately 90% of his deliveries to Archer were at his head.

Injury is so rare that it makes no sense to consider it as a strategy. My aim was to gently persuade the batsman that he would prefer to take guard somewhere around square leg.

If Buttler had missed that hook and been hit by the ball would FR be calling Cummings a bully, we wonder rhetorically...
