My predicted vax date now starts at end March. It's all over the shop but I guess that "may" be because as soon as the 2nd dose vaccinations start, the number of 1st dose vaccinations can be expected to drop by a lot. I assume they will stick religiously to the 2nd dose at 12 weeks plan even if it means 80-90% of daily doses are to people who have already had dose 1 - dose 2 gets priority in other words.

My wife and I were surprised to both get mild cold symptoms a week ago. The only person we'd seen in the week previous had been her father, who is following the guidance, but still manages to be out and about with shopping, doctor, dentist etc a couple of times a week...

I guess it is like life in general. Some people are lovely, caring human beings and behave as they should. But loads of shit befalls them. Other people act utterly appaulingly in all senses and skip through life without a care |

Stories like this annoy me devonlive.com Exmouth is a large town, over 30,000. When people want a walk the nicest place to exercise is the seafront, its wide and open. There may have been a few people from Exeter as well - it's only 10 miles away and the nearest beach. Rates in Exeter and East Devon are less than 100 per 100,000. Some of the lowest in the country. If we demonise people for walking along their nearest beach then where will this end? |

Going back a few pages I was being chastised for criticising the changing advice on masks. It's more than 'learning', there were 6 months from the first Covid cases in the UK until masks became mandatory in shops in July. And now it's a year since the first cases and there isnt universal agreement about the effectiveness of each type of mask. I'm just questioning why the science seems to be changing and seems to be different in every single country in the World |
